At ZeroLight, the year always kicks off with our annual trip to Las Vegas for CES, and 2025 was no different. But CES was just the beginning...
Now that we’ve hit the halfway point of the year, here’s a quick look at where we’ve been jetting off to since January (and yes, we’ve racked up some serious air miles).
Shortly after CES, we found ourselves back in Las Vegas, this time for SHOT Show. Our Associate Tech Director, Jason, was on the ground supporting a client at the event. It was a completely new experience for us, but as always, we love a challenge - and Jason came back with plenty of stories and insights.
In April, our CEO Darren set off on a two-week tour of the U.S. to meet with partners, explore new opportunities, and generally fly the ZeroLight flag across the automotive world.
Starting in Nashville, he hopped between Detroit, Ohio, and New York meeting industry leaders and having some brilliant discussions with our US client base. A stop in NYC even included a visit to one of our long-standing immersive 3D environments.

The tour wrapped up back in Nashville with more great conversations and renewed partnerships. It was a whirlwind - but an invaluable reminder of just how powerful face-to-face time can be.
In May, our Customer Success Manager Jamie headed out to Japan for a week of meetings in Tokyo and Hiroshima.
Things got off to a rocky start - lost luggage, ill-fitting trousers, and a minor head injury. But once the suitcase was found and the meetings got underway, Jamie had a brilliant trip, packed with promising leads and exciting opportunities for us in this market.

Most recently, we had a team back out in the U.S. - this time Dave (Exec Director - Client Solutions), Mhairi (Senior Project Manager), and Lawrie (Exec Director - Growth) made the trip for a quick-fire visit.
First stop: Detroit for a dinner and strategy session. Then it was a hop over to LA for two days of back-to-back meetings on the West Coast. Time zones were confusing enough, but things really kicked off when an especially unfriendly gentleman refused to let them check into their hotel (classic travel chaos).

Despite the drama, they returned home tired, slightly jet-lagged, but full of momentum and some great progress made.
Of course, not all our travels are international. With several of our team working fully remotely across the UK, Collaboration Week in Newcastle is always a highlight (and a logistical adventure involving planes, trains, and just a few delays here and there).
But whether it’s Tokyo, LA, or Newcastle, we know that meeting in person, sharing ideas, and building relationships face-to-face always brings enormous value.
We look forward to seeing what the rest of this year brings…
