Our New Home at Generator Studios

After months of hard work from our Operations and IT teams, the boxes are unpacked, the coffee is flowing, and we are officially settled into our permanent new home at Generator Studios.

We first shared the news of our move last year, and whilst we’ve been tenants at Generator since September, we’ve spent the last few months in a temporary space while our permanent studio underwent a top-to-bottom transformation.

Our new studio started as a total blank canvas. We knew we wanted an open-plan environment that encouraged collaboration, so our first task was a literal one: rip down the central wall. Once the dust settled, we realised just how much space we had to play with. We moved away from "standard office" tropes and opted for a design that felt industrial, contemporary, and warm. By pairing dark grey walls and carpets with a bold purple accent wall, we created a space that feels modern and fresh. Huge thanks to Mandy and the design team, you turned the studio into a place we genuinely love coming to every morning.

One of the most immediate benefits of being here is the atmosphere. There is a genuine "buzz" that comes from being surrounded by other thriving, innovative companies. It’s a powerful motivator for the team, but more importantly, it’s friendly. From the Generator staff to our new neighbors, the welcome has been incredible.

Location was non-negotiable for us. At Generator, we have the best of both worlds:

• City Connectivity: We’re still just a short walk from the heart of Newcastle city centre, keeping us close to major transport links and city amenities.
• The Quayside: We are just a stone’s throw from the iconic Tyne Bridge and Millennium Bridge. A lunchtime stroll along the water has become the perfect way for the team to clear their heads and recharge.

What really makes a workspace feel like "home" are the perks that boost our daily morale:

• The On-Site Gym - A total game-changer for team wellness, making it easy to fit in a workout before or after the shift.
• The Caffeine Stations: Our own state-of-the-art coffee machine is back and remains a vital studio staple. But we’ve also gained access to the Generator machine, which offers everything from smooth mochas to indulgent hot chocolates. It’s become the perfect spot to bump into our new neighbors and catch up.
• The Breakfast Station: Our new kitchen space now offers a spread of healthy morning fuel—from granola and muesli to hearty porridge. You can top your bowl with fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, and honey for the perfect start. Plus, don't miss the "CEO Special, a signature blend of turmeric, ginger honey, and black pepper, designed to kickstart your immunity and your workday.
• A Dog-Friendly Home: Perhaps the most popular perk of all! Having our canine colleagues around adds a layer of comfort and fun, making the office feel less like a corporate workspace and more like a community.
