September Collaboration Week

Our latest collaboration week was centred around celebrating our achievements over the past year, and making plans to continue our successes into the next 12 months.

We started off the week with our traditional breakfast from Stairwayz Cafe and an update from our Executive Team, who reflected on the past year, and shared a company wide update on plans for Year 2. This then kicked off our busy workshop schedule.

We decided to focus our workshops for this collaboration week on broader topics of interest, allowing us to open sessions to the wider company, so our employees could choose their own schedule for the week.

These included the very popular ‘Story of a Lead’ where Lawrie, our Executive Director - Commercial Solutions, took us through the journey of how we handled a lead we received from Aston Martin, all the way through to our showcase alongside them at Pebble Beach

Our Executive Director for Client Delivery, Will shared his knowledge of Agile Principles and how we can apply these to our projects, and day to day tasks. We also held sessions on our Client Roadmap & Product Pipeline, a HR drop in and a workshop on how we handle internal Data Requests.

One session that was widely requested, was a workshop on Professional Client Communications and Etiquette. Having worked with clients for many years, we asked our Account Director, Matt, who has experience on the commercial side & Executive Director - Client Solutions, Dave, on the technical side, to run this session. They were more than happy to share their expertise, and set some simple guidelines when interacting with clients, for those who aren’t as experienced in this area.

We ended our workshops with a session hosted by our Executive Directors, who each shared their teams success stories from the past year, giving shout outs and kudos to those who have excelled over the past 12 months, leading us nicely into our social event.

We are always eager to support our local businesses, so we decided to reach out to our neighbours, holding our social at Live Theatre, with food supplied by Scream for Pizza, with some final drinks at The Broad Chare.

Our next collaboration week will be in December, and we are already looking forward to the festivities!!
