BRP Launches Can-Am Electric Motorcycles with ZeroLight Configurators

50 years after igniting a legacy, Can-Am is taking charge of the future by bringing two all-new electric motorcycles to today's generation, the multi-terrain Can-Am Origin and the city-focused Can-Am Pulse.

To launch the two-wheeled additions to their portfolio of iconic vehicles, Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) tasked ZeroLight to build two stunning online configurators that could stir the emotions of its customers. That’s exactly what ZeroLight did, empowering users to visualise more than 100,000 unique configurations in incredible detail on the Can-Am website

This project takes the total number of ZeroLight BRP model configurator launches to a total of 21, covering the Sea-Doo, Can-Am On-Road, Can-Am Off-Road, Lynx, and Ski-Doo brands.

The Can-Am Origin and Can-Am Pulse digital experiences were created with ZeroLight’s proven omnichannel configurator solution, Palette SDK. This ensured they were delivered on schedule for their Club BRP 2025 debut and adopted the latest visualisation technologies, such as ray-tracing. This was especially important in capturing the intricacy of the materials and textures featured on the new motorcycles.

BRP also made the most of ZeroLight’s in-house expertise via its Professional Services offering, receiving support with 3D Model Prep, Environment Production, Back & Front-end Development, and Quality Assurance. As a result, customers can now explore two 150% photorealistic digital twins in a pre-defined gallery mode, within two meticulously modelled 3D environments - one urban and one multi-terrain.

Having specced their ideal motorcycle, users can then share their final configuration with friends and family. They can also ‘Request a Quote’, which notifies their nearest dealer who will contact them to continue their buying journey in person.

The 150% digital twin models that feature in the configurators are now available to the BRP team to freely generate personalised product images, videos and 3D models via ZeroLight’s CGI content production platform, SpotLight Suite™. This gives the team the ability to scale their output of promotional media, without the associated costs of setting up physical photo or video shoots.
