Our September Collaboration week was our busiest yet, with 19 workshops, it was a great couple of days, with a variety of sessions for people to join.
As always, we kicked off the week with breakfast, and a welcome from our CEO, Darren, who provided us with an update on our 3 year business vision, commercial opportunities won & lost, ending with some insights to Life at ZeroLight.
- We have held 65 workshops over 4 collaboration weeks
- 14 people have attended coaching, with 37 sessions in total
- 12 Developing You sessions, including Emotional intelligence, Celebrating Failure & Understanding our differences
- 257 Goals set for our employees
- We have travelled to 20 cities
- 54 instagram posts (you can follow us at lifeatzl)
- We have eaten 775 Porridge Pots & 388 Breakfast sandwiches
- We’ve drunk 1564 yoghurt drinks, brewed 3640 Yorkshire Tea Bags and socialised with 1680 Pints (at least…)
It has been really great to see how our collaboration weeks have developed since we introduced them back in December 2022. We’ve seen increasing engagement with the sessions we deliver, with more people attending and more individuals asking to host workshops as well.
Alongside our usual Account Plan Updates, and Product Retrospectives, we had our latest Developing You session looking at Project Responsibility and Accountability where we looked at the importance of being accountable whilst working on client projects, and what processes we have in place to ensure this.
Our Product Director, Ian, hosted a session on the latest development of our products, taking us through a live demo.
We also held a Quality Forum, which was an open discussion about the importance of quality, and how this is the responsibility of every member of the ZeroLight team.
Finally we all participated in a workshop on quoting, hosted by our Project Managers. To start, they gave everyone a very vague brief, and asked each group to provide a quotation based on the information provided. The idea behind this was to highlight the way we all bring different assumptions and opinions based on our individual experiences, and looking at ways we can share those assumptions or set them aside in future.
We ended our week with a social to celebrate the quarter at Offshore44, which is an amazing venue on the Newcastle Quayside!
