Interactive digital experience enhances Pagani Huayra BC Geneva debut

26th February, 2016 - Gateshead, UK - ZeroLight, the creator of the world's most advanced digital 3D car configurator, will demonstrate its technology on the Pagani Automobili stand at the Geneva International Motor Show, March 1-13. The visualisation expert, which has built a bespoke car configurator for the Italian supercar manufacturer, has modelled every detail of the new € 2.3m, 789bhp Huayra BC that is debuting at the show. Stand visitors will be able to experience a real-time digital recreation of this extraordinary new vehicle alongside one of only 20 road-going versions.

"ZeroLight's digital 3D car configurator enables Pagani buyers to discover the intricacies of their range with boutique levels of options in a digital environment; our modelling of the new Huayra BC at the Geneva Motor Show provides a totally interactive experience demonstrating Pagani's exquisite attention to detail", says ZeroLight CEO, Darren Jobling. "The Huayra BC has undergone extensive powertrain, chassis and body development to make it one of the most astonishing vehicles on display at Geneva; ZeroLight's advanced digital retail solution will allow visitors to create their own Huayra BC ahead of the 20 lucky owners who will be fortunate enough to experience the real thing."

All of the new Huayra BC hypercars are now sold, and will be specified by the owners-to-be using the ZeroLight configurator prior to manufacture. Pagani is using the technology at the Geneva show to provide a 'behind-closed-doors' exclusive personalisation experience that is only available to owners. A public demonstration video also showcasing the technology will be displayed at the Pagani stand.

"Pagani customers understand the value of fine craftsmanship, spectacular aesthetics and precise engineering; our partnership with ZeroLight helps make the retail experience a journey that engages the customer in the design process and visualizes the end result in the highest quality possible", says Horacio Pagani, CEO & Chief Designer Pagani Automobili. "We offer customers the opportunity to tailor their new Pagani to their individual desires. The configurator built by ZeroLight enables a meticulous exploration of our vehicles and their customization opportunities."

ZeroLight's real-time 3D car configurator combines leading graphical fidelity and frame rates to provide an interactive retail experience that brings to life a car manufacturer's entire product range and upgrade specifications. Cloud processing reduces reliance on in-situ hardware, with the ability to display vehicles on a range of devices, including Ultra HD screens, video walls, virtual & augmented reality headsets, PCs or tablets, depending on individual dealership requirements. ZeroLight has recently returned from the VR/AR Vision Summit in Los Angeles, where it showcased the original Pagani Huayra Coupé in virtual reality alongside technology peers at the forefront of the VR movement.
