The Role

This role is firmly rooted in back end engineering, focusing on the robust logic and distributed systems that power our 3D engines.

You won't just be writing APIs in a vacuum; you’ll understand how your back-end logic surfaces in the browser, helping to bridge the gap between our cloud-rendering tech and the final user interface.

The Person
  • You have a passion for server-side logic, data integrity, and system performance.
  • You enjoy deconstructing complex issues in distributed environments.
  • You have experience supporting the delivery of significant features and are ready to learn how to build at a global scale.
  • You are happy to pivot between back-end architecture and front-end adjustments depending on the needs of our automotive clients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain the services that form the backbone of our visualization platform.
  • Assist in the support of high availability and self-healing, fault-tolerant systems to ensure zero downtime for our global partners.
  • Utilize full-stack development knowledge to troubleshoot and implement front-end updates that interact with our back-end APIs.
  • Work within a complex ecosystem of distributed systems, ensuring data flows efficiently from our databases to the end-user.
Technical Experience
  • Python: Solid professional experience building server-side applications.
  • Node.js: Proficiency in developing and maintaining scalable APIs.
  • MongoDB: Familiarity with No-SQL database management and optimization.
  • Linux: Comfort working within and troubleshooting Linux environments.
  • Kubernetes & Docker: Experience working with containerized applications.
  • Web Technologies: Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks to support full-stack delivery.
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • A strong back-end foundation with a proven ability to work across the full web stack when required.
  • Understanding of cloud-native principles and container orchestration.
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a high-growth, innovative environment.
