As a rapidly expanding company ZeroLight is always on the look-out for talented students to join its newly launched Internship Program. As such, we attend a range of University events throughout the academic year, kicking off last week with Teesside University's annual Careers Fair.
With around 50% of ZeroLight staff coming through the Internship Program, many going onto leading roles as Tech Directors, we're keen to find the latest intake of talented students looking to make their mark within a vibrant and growing company.
As always, the Teesside Careers Fair was well attended by students and employers alike. Our Talent Development Manager Erin and Senior Software Engineer (and Teesside Alumni) Ian manned the ZeroLight stand, talking to a range of students from relevant degree disciplines and demonstrating our mobile VR solutions.
Earlier this week Erin also attended Warwick University's flagship Computing Your Career event alongside the likes of Google, Microsoft and the BBC. Hosted by the Computer Science department, the event gives students the chance to gain advice from technology employers on how to stand out and access jobs. Named by technology investment bank GP Bullhound as a company to watch in 2016, ZeroLight talked about how to gain employment in one of the UKs most exciting tech start-ups at the event.
