ZeroLight, strategic visualisation partners to Audi AG, are working alongside the luxury car manufacturer for the deployment of the Audi VR experience at IAA 2017. The demonstration comes as part of Audi's launch announcement of their in-dealership experience, which also names Oculus as the primary project partner for virtual reality hardware. The public showcase is taking place at the Facebook stand, B41, Hall 3.1, running from 12th to 17th September 2017.
"We're incredibly proud to be part of the Audi VR experience demonstration with Oculus at IAA," says Darren Jobling, CEO, ZeroLight. Digital experiences, such as virtual reality, are increasingly becoming an expected part of the modern automotive buying journey. With our partners at Audi, we're leading the way in the development and deployment of these at scale."
Two Oculus Rift demo stations at the Facebook stand allow visitors to explore Audi's vehicles in ZeroLight's latest volumetric video beach environment, experiencing first-hand the automotive industry's premier configuration solution.
Having already earned mass industry and critical acclaim for its innovative approach to consumer engagement through immersive technologies, the Audi VR experience has been excellently received at IAA 2017, attracting hundreds of visitors, including Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg.
